Oh Ces! Such absolute mystery and magic in this forest of trees! Absolutely beautiful!! I think I need some of your time management skills. I'm so exhausted from a job that isn't physically taxing I find it hard to find time to work on my art! But I am going to rectify that, I swear!!
They are amazing! They remind me of a children's folktale book called Hildilid's Night. Will you submit these for possible illustrations? I am quickly learning from reading artists' blogs, that good artists often study a particular subject and style by doing several pieces. You are definitely the expert on forests and trees! Your imagination and creativity and talent are evident in every piece!
Ces, thankyou for the kind email. I admire your decision greatly, though it saddens me of course being greedy for your work - as I am for all great art.
It;s not often we get to communicate with such a wonderful artist as yourself. Well, actually, that's not quite right.
Since I started blogging I realised how many amazingly talented artists there are in the world. And without the net they would be toiling away in the ir dark solitary atics (is that how you spell that atticks, attics, attacks aaaaaargh :) ), and the world would not now what brilliant work they had domne in their lifetimes.
They would die in obscurity (most cases) and the cleaning lady would throw their work out, or their children would stick it in the cupboard where it would go mouldy, or take it down to the junkshop...
And the world would be a poorer place.
Sad isn't it.
But on the other hand I am so glad that you share your work with us. I hope you continue to do so. Your work sings to us.
Think of how many people you 'happify'. (There's a new word for you - I went to Ces's blog and was happified :) )
Me? I am still here. I am keeping my new years resolution to myself and actually trying to finish a project.
So far I have started 4our big projects.
This will be my first finished one. I am on the downhill run, can see the light at the end of the tunnel and love to mix my metaphors.
Heh.
Thank you for your kindness too!
see you soon.
Don't vanish! You would dehappytise us if you did.
Hello, hello! Welcome back AutumnLeaves. I am so delighted to see you. As I said, you came to mind the other day. I was just thinking and then poof! I thought of you. A happy new year to you and may more blessings come your way.
Katherine, your comments are so valuable to me. I always like your insight. I love the way you discuss processes and of course, you are one heck of an artist.
Hello Tammie, your avatar is wonderful. Thank you very much.
Oh Mr. Finnie, 'tis you who happifies me. Your visits are like jelly beans or pop tarts. I love both of them. They are sweet and they brighten my day! Thank you for being so wonderful!
By me, one must have a special talent for drawing trees! And you surely do!! I admire every single branch and leaf you've drawn! I like to look at the different kinds of trees and the wind passing through them and have always wondered how it is possible the web of their branches and the lace of their leaves to be recreated by a human's hand...
Thank you Rossichka. First of all I am so glad to see you here. I have not been blogging much lately. These posts which are mostly collections have all been posted somewhere on my blog. I am just now getting them together. I hope to pick up my blog-visiting activity soon. Ah what the heck, I'll stop by now. Thank you for your kind comments. I love trees, that's probably why I am so meticulous with drawing them. Thank you.
Ces, how do you find time to create? Every individual pieces here are truly masterpieces. love the black & white traces the beautiful scene in the wood.
I see a lot of activities going on in this beautiful garden. It's your hardwork and labour of love-Such expression is so touching!
And thank you to bringing us to walk through the chaotic garden with joy, happiness, wonder and renewal faith in friendship....knowing that there are still friends like that here and there....in your drawings....also in your blog....also in your heart!
Take care, I hope you continue to be creative and God bless you Ces!

I think that I shall never see
A friend as lovely-true as thee
A friend whose six-fingered hand is pressed
Against the bristol's smooth white breast
A friend who looks at lines all day
And squiggles her micron pens to pray
A friend who may in summer wear
Riding boots and wavy hair
Upon whose hands a gift is lain
Whose art can take away my pain
Doodles are made by fools like me
But only Ces can draw a tree.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Joyce's Kilmer's "Trees" poem is my favorite but now I think this is my new favorite! Hahaha! Thank you, Sweetness! TSUP!

Dear Ms. Adorio,
I read how so many people were anticipating and lining up for CES. This hardly comes as any surprise. 'Pfffft, of course!'
But then I read that a lot of men were lining up to enter CES.
'Huh? WTH?'
Ohhhhhh, the Consumer Electronics Show.
Pfffft. My Ces is so much cooler.
I am a Ces geek. May I be the president of the Ces Fan Club?
Sincerely,
El Presidente, BARF
(Bella's Art & Random Finds)
I love CRAP.
I love being knee deep -- no, up to my ears in CRAP.
Yoon See, thank you for your most eloquent and kind comment and may the good Lord bless you always.

Here! let me cover you in CRAP!!! Tsup!
So you understand the level of your talent?!!! I just wonder if you take this incredible talent you have for granted?
These are AMAZING!!!
Missing you tons and hoping you are finding time for yourself to just be quiet and soothe your soul.
Hugs my dear Ces
Julia, it's not that I take this for granted, it's just this talent does not seem to matter when life matters most. Thank you for being so kind to me.
Ces, I cannot believe your work, how much you do and how beautiful it is. Trees are my favourite. Especially the stark ones against the snow.
