Moleskine Journal and Notebook Pages

Before cellular phones oozed with gadgets and applications, I had Moleskine notebooks to distract my attention from the lengthy waits at the doctor's or dentist's offices, school plays and karate sessions and tournaments. There on every black notebook I owned, I wrote copious notes and drew pictures using a regular ball point pen. Sometimes I had colored pencils and so I colored the images. Once I copied the entire crossword puzzle from the paper in the waiting room so I can work on it without using the communal paper. I also copied an entire article on the ethanol craze for reference. I used regular lined pocket Moleskine notebooks. This was before everyone used a Moleskine for drawing. Leave it to "artists" to make something ordinary, seem extraordinary and faddish. Everyone started doing a Moleskine exchange, so I went back to using it for plain notes and instead, started drawing acorns on ATC sized cards. These days my Moleskine notebooks are filled with notes from business phone calls. Here are some Moleskine notes and doodles. A few of them were published on Moleskinerie and on the 1000 Journal Pages book.
